Why Weight Matters on a Reefer
A refrigerated trailer is heavy before you load it — insulation, a reinforced bulkhead, a fuel tank and the unit itself. On weight-limited freight such as beverages, dairy or bottled water, every pound of tare is a pound of revenue you cannot carry.
