1. Agreement to Terms
By using our Site and services, you signify your irrevocable acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. Propane Tank Distributors serves as a wholesale and retail provider of pressure vessels. This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and Propane Tank Distributors, superseding all prior oral or written agreements.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement. Businesses must ensure that the individual placing the order is an authorized representative. We reserve the right to refuse service to any person or entity at our sole discretion.
3. Site and Use Restrictions
You may use our Site for lawful procurement purposes only. You are prohibited from using any automated system or software to extract data for commercial purposes (scraping). Unauthorized use of our infrastructure or attempts to bypass security protocols is strictly forbidden.
4. Intellectual Property
All content, including product descriptions, technical diagrams, site imagery, and logos, is the exclusive property of Propane Tank Distributors or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written consent from our management team.
5. Products and Availability
We strive for precision in displaying our inventory of 76+ tanks. However, due to turnover, availability is subject to change without notice. Propane Tank Distributors reserves the right to discontinue any product or model at any time. Errors in dimensions or weight specifications are unintentional and will be corrected upon discovery.
6. Condition Classes
Propane Tank Distributors offers both New and Inspected Pre-Owned vessels. New tanks are defined as direct from the manufacturer with original data plates. Pre-owned vessels undergo a multi-point inspection to ensure structural integrity and are sold as 'Inspected' or 'Certified Used' depending on the specific product tier.
7. Pricing and Taxes
All prices are listed in USD. Pricing does not include local sales taxes unless explicitly stated. Buyers are responsible for all applicable state and local taxes based on the delivery location. While we maintain a $400 flat shipping rate, we reserve the right to adjust product base pricing at any time without prior notification.
8. Quotations
Quotes generated for custom projects or large-scale storage are valid for 15 days from the date of issuance. A quote does not constitute a reservation of inventory until a formal order is placed and payment is initiated.
9. Order Process
An order is considered placed once payment is received or a valid PO is accepted. You will receive an automated confirmation email. It is your responsibility to verify the accuracy of the tank specifications and delivery details provided in the confirmation.
10. Modifications to Service
Propane Tank Distributors reserves the right to modify or discontinue any part of our service at any time. We are not liable to you or any third party for modification, price change, or suspension of the Site or products.
11. ORDER ACCEPTANCE & VARIATIONS
All orders are subject to acceptance by Propane Tank Distributors. We reserve the right to correct any typographical or clerical errors in pricing or specifications. Product variations may occur due to manufacturer updates or inventory cycles, provided that such variations do not materially affect the safety or capacity of the pressure vessel.
12. SHIPPING & FREIGHT CONDITIONS
The $400 flat-rate shipping fee applies to all standard equipment orders within the continental United States. Additional charges may apply for remote access locations, multi-drop deliveries, or specialized unloading requirements. All freight timing estimates are approximate and the Company is not liable for indirect costs associated with transit delays.
13. QUALITY INSPECTION & RETURNS
Customers are responsible for inspecting equipment at the time of delivery. Any damage must be noted on the Bill of Lading (BOL). Returns are subject to restocking fees and return freight costs unless the equipment is found to be defective or non-compliant with the ASME specifications provided at the time of purchase.
14. TAXES & REGULATORY FEES
The Buyer is responsible for all applicable sales, use, and excise taxes, as well as any regulatory fees associated with the purchase and installation of propane storage vessels. Exemption certificates must be provided in valid form to the Company prior to invoicing to avoid tax assessment.
15. TITLE & RISK OF LOSS
Title to the goods passes to the Buyer upon full payment of the purchase price. Risk of loss or damage to the units passes to the Buyer upon delivery to the specified location (FOB Destination), unless otherwise agreed in writing for customer-arranged transport.
16. PAYMENT SECURITY
We utilize PCI-compliant processing for all digital transactions. Electronic checks (ACH), bank wires, and major credit cards are accepted. The Company reserves the right to hold shipment of equipment until funds have cleared the financial institution and been verified in full.
17. DEFAULT & CANCELLATION FEES
In the event of default on payment, the Buyer agrees to pay all costs of collection, including reasonable legal fees. Orders for non-standard or large-scale storage vessels (>2,000 gallons) that are cancelled after engineering approval or fabrication startup are subject to non-refundable deposit terms.
18. FORCE MAJEURE
The Company shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations if such failure is as a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities, civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalization, government sanction, blockage, embargo, or labor dispute.
19. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on this website, including but not limited to descriptive text, product configurations, diagrams, and photographic imagery, is the property of Propane Tank Distributors. Unauthorized reproduction or commercial use of our proprietary identifiers or content is strictly prohibited.
20. AMENDMENTS
Propane Tank Distributors reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Significant changes will be reflected by update to the Effective Date located at the top of this page. Continued use of our purchasing platform constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Propane Tank Distributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, resulting from your access to or use of the products.
22. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Propane Tank Distributors from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses arising from your use of and access to the Service.
23. Safety Obligations
Purchasers acknowledge that propane is potentially hazardous. It is the user's responsibility to ensure that all equipment is installed and operated in accordance with NFPA 58, local fire codes, and manufacturer safety guidelines.
24. Maintenance Requirements
Propane vessels require periodic inspection. Above-ground tanks must be kept free of rust. Underground tanks must maintain cathodic protection. Professional maintenance documentation must be retained to validate warranties.
25. Prohibited Uses
Tanks are designed for standard LP-gas storage. Use for any other substance or modification of the pressure vessel structure or safety valves without certified professional oversight is dangerous and strictly prohibited.
26. Equipment Condition
Used inventory is inspected before dispatch. All vessels are sold as-is once the initial inspection period expires. New vessels are subject to the manufacturer's limited warranty only.

28. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content remain the exclusive property of Propane Tank Distributors. Our trademarks may not be used without the prior written consent of Propane Tank Distributors.
29. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States. Failure to enforce any provision will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
30. Severability
If any provision is held to be invalid by a court, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service and products.
